Why YOU should be getting your scan, at least ANNUALLY

I had a patient recently come in upset because she had driven her husband all the way to Boston because his Endocrinologist wanted him to get his body composition scan, while she could have come to WYW. This scan was deemed necessary by his Doctor to be sure he had maintained muscle mass while on Ozempic for his type 2 diabetes, which as a secondary benefit helped him to lose weight. 

While I am not a Medical Doctor, I AM a Doctor of Nursing Practice, and I have chosen to invest in the most accurate body composition machine there is to determine muscle mass for my patients.
